This initiative focuses on protecting consumers from economic food fraud by rigorously testing products such as wine, honey, fruit brandies, fruit juices and nectars, milk and dairy products, as well as meat and meat products.

ANA LAB & SG ISOTECH have been engaged to apply its state-of-the-art EIM-IRMS technology, which stands out as a revolutionary tool in the field of food testing. This technology is unparalleled globally, offering an exceptional ability to detect the presence of cheaper, unauthorized ingredients in food products. For example, EIM-IRMS can precisely identify industrial sugars and ethanol (alcohol), which are not permitted in certain food categories (Wine, fruit brandies, honey, fruit juices, etc.), as well as cases where products like fruit juices or milk have been diluted with water. These fraudulent practices not only mislead consumers but also erode trust in food labeling and quality standards.
